As the crisp Autumn days set in, it can only mean one thing, it’s time to start The Kitchen Garden harvest for the return of our autumnal menu at The Coach House.
This season won’t just see a new lunch and dinner menu, we’re adding a set Tasting Menu to The Coach House. The new menu is still in development, but Gareth and his team are working on seasonal dishes, such as; Atlantic cod with creamed cabbage and beer vinegar and a chocolate mousse bar, topped off with tiramisu ice cream, to name just a few...
The set menu will use a combination of homegrown ingredients from the estate’s Kitchen Garden and locally sourced produce, where Gareth will focus each course around the Yorkshire seasons.
Gareth adds: ‘This is the ideal time to launch our Tasting Menu; we are just seeing the final touches made to the Kitchen Garden, providing us with an amazing source of fresh fruit, vegetables and herbs right on doorstep. Alongside, our three AA Rosette recognition, we have the chance to curate something really special and memorable for our guests to the restaurant.”
The Coach House has just been recognised with 3 AA Rosettes at the annual AA Rosette award for their outstanding menu that according to AA Hospitality “has achieved standards that demand recognition well beyond the local area”. The restaurant has joined a small handful of restaurants in the UK with 3 or more AA Rosettes.
