Children's Wilderness Days

Returning this Summer, our wilderness experts will be hosting two action-packed daytime events for the school summer holidays. All those mini Bear Grylls and the future adventurers will have the chance to be fully immersed and learn Bushcraft and outdoor crafts perfect for a wild adventure.

July 27 will be Adventure Day, where they will learn a selection of skills from working with ropes, including Tyrollean Traverses, building structures, problem solving, a treasure map challenge, navigation and even a bush tucker trail.

On August 24, it’s time for a full Robin Crusoe experience, with a Bushcraft Day for those eager explorers. They will learn vital skills and exercises to survive outdoors, from shelter building, fire lighting, finding food for free to the skinning of preparation of wood, plus many more wild activities throughout the day.

The Adventure and Bushcraft Days will be held in the grounds of the Middleton Lodge Estate.

Once you have booked your child’s place, you will receive a booking form and full information pack with guidelines for equipment and clothing required to attend the day.
