As the winter nights draw in, and our lives get busier and more hectic every day. The need to sit back, relax and enjoy the small things in life has never been more essential.
This winter, we’re all about embracing the cosy Hygge concept. Taking pleasure from home comforts, spending time with loved ones and indulging your senses, Hygge is more than just simple cosiness, it’s about a moment that you create for yourself. So we’re taking a heart warming lesson from the Danish, to create a Hygge evening at The Farmhouse this November.
Arrive at The Farmhouse with your loved ones at sundown, slippers will be waiting for you at the door and your dinner will already already cooking in the oven. With the log fire lit and candles glowing in the lounge, sit down to play your favourite board game, before serving up a hearty three course dinner, cooked by our chefs and served by you (view menu).
After dinner, get wrapped up in cosy blankets and watch a film of your choosing or take a step outstide to make s'mores on our roaring fire pits. When it’s time for bed, drift off to sleep in one of the Farmhouse’s six bedrooms and wake up the next morning to a relaxing breakfast around the fire. Finish your stay with a refreshing walk on the estate’s Woodland Walk, before heading back into the real world…
