The Place to Party

December, we’re either found filling the shop with goodies, tucking into homemade mince pies and mulled wine by the fireside in the snug, grabbing those last-minute gifts or preparing for the celebrations, of course!

We, love everything about Christmas on the estate! From the winter tipples, to wreath making, big knit workshops and seeing the shop brimming with handpicked Christmas gifts:

And then there’s the parties! (hallelujah!) Take your pick from the list below and let us know if you fancy joining us?

Starting with our RAT PACK Party night:

With the swagger of Sinatra and the coolness of Dean Martin, pick up your arrival drink before sitting down for a three-course feast in the Fig House! As the dinner comes to the end, join us on the dancefloor (we like to be the first on and the last ones to leave). The Rat Pack classics will be playing all night, so we can jive, jazz and swing night away. All you need know is that whiskey by the fire (make ours an Old Fashioned).

Then there’s the APRÉS SKI party :

So long to the slopes… Dig out your vintage ski suits, dust off your goggles and get ready for a winter knees up in the Fig House! Just a week before Christmas it’s the perfect excuse to get merry! This party night is anything but chilled, we’ll be serving up a delicious winter BBQ, plenty of cocktails ready for our Resident House DJ to take us back to La Folie Douce! If we’re lucky we may even have a dusting of snow. Say no more, we’ll see you there!

21st DEC– £35 – click here to book

Ok so the parties are planned, get in touch and we’ll put your names on the guest list!

And don’t forget, if you’d like to stay over, just reserve a room with our receptionists and retreat there once the dancing’s over! Wake up the next day, sip on a few Bloody Marys at the Coach House (or a full Yorkshire breakfast) you could even book a treatment! It’s Christmas afterall!

An update from the Estate

We’re delighted to announce, in light of the latest Government guidance that our Coach House restaurant and hotel will re-open on Thursday 3rd December 2020.

From Thursday the Coach House will be serving up a delicious winter walled garden inspired menu for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

Our stretch tent is still in place for alfresco-dining and we have the heaters and mulled wine at the ready. As the restaurant re-opens, we will no longer be offering takeaway orders Monday to Saturday. And on Sundays you can either join us for your Sunday roast or pre-order and collect your lunch to enjoy at home.

Should you have a hotel reservation from December 3rd, your booking will still be in place and we’re looking forward to welcoming you.

As you can imagine, our phone lines are extremely busy at the moment, which is why we thank you for your patience in advance.
