If you’re excited to try our new restaurant to the estate, but you’d like to know a little be more, well read on for a little taste of what to expect...
The restaurant will use produce foraged from the estate, using an different ingredient element to create an inventive and unique menu. Expect the menu to change daily, dependent on the produce available from our farmers and the estate’s land that very day.
If you’re a little early you can cosy up in the lounge before heading to your table, where you can choose one of our divine garden cocktails, filled with fresh botanical flavours with ingredients foraged straight from the estate. We would definitely be tempted to try the wine flight too, chosen by our sommelier, each glass fives a complex depth and reinvented taste to each dish on the menu.
Now for that intimate setting, surrounded by rustic stone walls (sourced from the estate) and finely grained wood beams, Forge will be mainly lit by candle light and of course a gentle glow from the roaring fire. Each dish will be served on handcrafted dishes by local artisans, adding another element to Gareth’s innovative dishes, where each course is set to tell a tale of the estate.
