Treat Dad to something a little different this Father’s Day with a two-hour clay pigeon shooting experience on the Middleton Lodge estate, guided by expert instructor Mark Baxter.

Designed for all levels of experience, the session introduces the foundations of holding and using a shotgun safely and effectively to shoot clay targets. You’ll begin with the use of ‘snap caps’, dummy cartridges that help you get a feel for the movement of the gun and timing your shot, before progressing at a pace that suits you.

After the session, why not book a table at The Coach House and enjoy a Father’s Day roast, served in the restaurant or alfresco in the courtyard, if the weather allows.

Bookings must be made at least 48 hours in advance, with payment required upon booking. We recommend reserving early to avoid disappointment.

Please come dressed for the outdoors: sturdy boots or shoes (with a bag to carry them afterwards), a cap or hat to protect from stray clay fragments, warm layers, and a waterproof jacket are all advised to keep you comfortable in any weather.

Children looking to join Dad must be 10 years old and over. Twelve spaces available, includes 25 clays and cartridges per person.

Please call 01325 377-977 to book.
