Join renowned ceramicist Victoria Brook for an inspiring workshop exploring the art of hand-built ceramics, where creativity meets nature. Under Victoria’s expert guidance, you’ll learn the techniques of sculpting and carving to create lifelike ceramic mushrooms. During the two-hour session at Forge on the Middleton Lodge Estate, you’ll craft three distinct mushrooms, including the morel and classic porcini mushrooms, which make gorgeous ceramics for your home. Homemade scones and hot drinks will be provided during the workshop, enhancing your creative experience. Why not complement your day with our forest pickle and preserve workshop on the morning, followed by an early lunch at the Coach House, or perhaps enjoy a late afternoon snack from our tempting Light Bites menu? After the workshop, Victoria will carefully glaze and fire your pieces, which will be ready for collection within approximately six weeks. You can collect your finished sculptures directly from Middleton Lodge Estate or from Victoria’s Newcastle studio. Alternatively, postage arrangements can be made for an additional fee.

Workshop Terms & Conditions:
1. Full payment is required at the time of booking.
2. Should you wish to transfer your booking to another guest’s name, please contact our reservations team directly.
3. Cancellations made up to one month before the event will receive a 50% refund. After this point, tickets are non-refundable.
4. A minimum of eight guests is needed for the workshop to proceed. If this minimum isn’t met and we need to cancel, a full refund will be provided.
