Two hours at the Forge with local ceramicist Victoria Brook, working in clay by hand. Victoria leads you through hand building, carving and sculpting to shape a small bowl, drawing on forms and markings found in the natural world. Most guests leave with one or two pieces. Hot drinks and a Forge seasonal scone are served partway through the morning. Victoria takes the finished work away to glaze and fire. Pieces are ready in around six weeks and can be collected from the estate or from her Newcastle studio. Postage can be arranged for a fee.

Good to know:
● Arrival from 9.15am. A drink on arrival is included.
● The refreshment break is at around 10.30am, with a hot drink and a Forge seasonal scone.
● Parking is at the Forge or the Coach House.

● Full payment is required at the time of booking.
● To transfer your booking to another guest’s name, please contact our reservations team.
● Cancellations made up to one month before the event receive a 50% refund. After that point tickets are non refundable.
● A minimum of eight guests is needed for the workshop to proceed. If that number is not reached and we have to cancel, you will receive a full refund.
