A late spring evening on the croquet lawn, with long tables, good food and the gardens in full swing.

Join us at the Main House as the season turns, when the walled garden begins to shape what’s on the table. The evening centres around a generous, fire-led feast prepared outdoors by Chef Ross Forder, with dishes designed to be shared.

Expect garden salads, seasonal sides and chargrilled meat and fish, cooked simply and served to the table beneath the oak. It’s a relaxed way of eating: generous, informal and best enjoyed together.

Guests are welcomed into the Main House Bar for a seasonal cocktail before drifting out onto the lawn. There’s time to wander, settle in and enjoy the setting as the evening unfolds.

Our Head Gardener will be around throughout for those curious about what’s growing, what’s coming into season and how it all finds its way onto the plate.

A selection of wines, seasonal cocktails and local ales will be available throughout the evening.

YOUR EVENING
Booking is essential. A limited number of bedrooms are available and must be reserved in advance. This is a sharing Seasonal Garden feast, designed for coming together. You’ll be seated on shared tables, creating a relaxed and sociable setting. Rather than a set menu, dishes will be served to you on a rolling basis throughout the evening, shaped by what’s in season on the day and not shared in advance. Wine is not included within the ticket price and can be ordered on the day.

DRESS CODE
Relaxed early summer attire. Flat footwear is recommended for the lawn and garden paths.

Full payment is required at the time of booking. Dietary requirements must be provided when booking. Tickets are transferable to another guest but are non-refundable within one month of the event. All prices include VAT.

ACCESSIBILITY
The evening takes place outdoors on the Main House lawn, with access through the surrounding grounds. Surfaces include grass and garden paths which may be uneven.
