This December, The Three Inch Fools return to the estate for two evenings of A Christmas Carol, a light-hearted, musical take on Dickens’ much-loved Christmas story.
A tale of Ebenezer Scrooge, the grumpiest man in London, who is visited one cold Christmas Eve by three ghosts who take him on a journey through his past, present and future. It’s the story we all know and love, told the Fools’ way, with plenty of humour, live music, a touch of illusion and just enough spookiness to keep you on the edge of your seat.
The Three Inch Fools are known for their lively, inventive style. A small cast of actor-musicians play every part between them, swapping characters and costumes at speed and picking up all sorts of instruments along the way, all set to an original soundtrack. The result is fun, warm and full of festive spirit, a performance for the whole family to enjoy together.
Arrive from 6pm, when the bar opens, and settle in with a drink before the show begins at 7pm. There’s a 20-minute interval halfway through, where you can buy a delicious sweet treats and soft drinks.
Come with friends, bring the family, or make a night of it and book dinner at the Coach House beforehand. Either way, it’s a lovely way to begin Christmas at Lodge.

Good to know:
Seats are limited on both nights and we expect them to sell quickly, so we’d recommend booking early. Seating is provided.
The performance is for those aged 8 and over. The performance includes supernatural themes, periods of darkness, and sudden sound and lighting effects. Refunds are available up to 14 days before the event.
