Join renowned ceramicist Victoria Brook for an inspiring workshop exploring the art of hand-built ceramics. Under Victoria’s expert guidance, you’ll learn the techniques of sculpting and carving to shape a small clay bowl, drawing inspiration from nature. You’ll come home with one or two pieces, which will be glazed and returned to you.

A drink on arrival is included, with homemade scones and hot drinks served during the workshop. Why not make a day of it with lunch at the Coach House afterwards, or a late-afternoon snack from our tempting Light Bites menu?

After the workshop, Victoria will carefully glaze and fire your pieces, which will be ready for collection within approximately six weeks. You can collect your finished ceramics directly from Middleton Lodge Estate or from Victoria’s Newcastle studio. Alternatively, postage arrangements can be made for an additional fee.

Should you wish to transfer your booking to another guest’s name, please contact our reservations team directly.
Cancellations made up to one month before the event will receive a 50% refund. After this point, tickets are non-refundable.
A minimum of eight guests is needed for the workshop to proceed. If this minimum isn’t met and we need to cancel, a full refund will be provided.
